I am on the hunt for new worship music. I need help! I'm not up on any of the new stuff and have no idea who is good. Here is what I have in my itunes at the moment. In order of favorites:

  • Shawn McDonald "Simply Nothing" (whole album)
  • Shane & Shane - only "Yern" and "Psalm 13" though I love their sound I only own these two songs
  • Eoghan Heaslip - bought 5 years ago
  • Sonicflood - bought 9 years ago

That's it, so as you can see, I NEED some. Luckily, over Christmas I received a $15 dollar gift certificate to itunes. Help me spend it!!! Let me know what's good!

Recommend an artist, album, song, or all three!

The stuff on my player may be even older than what you have, but I'll list a few anyhow simply because both the message and the music speak so powerfully. These are songs with something to say, not just new cute ditties to use with the 7/11 style of music ministy.

I Surrender All - David Moffitt (although it's good, this isn't the hymnal words or tune)
In Christ Alone - Michael English
Take My Live - Scott Underwood (again, not the hymanl version)
Crucified With Christ - Phillips, Craig & Dean (any relation? ;-)
On My Knees - Nicole Mullen
On a lighter side, anything from or by Veggie Tales. ;-)
